You'll need this refill to complete your projects!!Dec 14, 2010

I saw the display for this today in the store and it took me awhile to figure out if these were edible or not. They look so real you might want to eat them - but don't. These are just various sweet crafts (not treats) that you can turn into keychains or other gifts. I brought these home as a surprise to my 7 year old and we had a lot of fun making them for her friends as Christmas gifts. We just love how real they look! We were glad we bought the extra whip cream, because as in real life too, you can never have too much whip creap. This is a Very cool new product for the Christmas season!!

DO NOT PURCHASE! Save your money. Go to Home Depot!May 08, 2012

I have been doing "decoden" for about a year now. Decoden is a japanese craft project that consists of adhering little trinkets made of clay or plastic to surfaces with this "whipped cream" solution.
Whipple is taking advantage of this growing trend by packaging a very common product and selling it for triple. I came across this product at Michaels and out of curiosity purchased it. I have never had a problem using my basic silicone but I thought maybe this would be even better since it is specifically for decoden. I noticed absolutely NO difference between Whipple and the Home Depot silicone I use. No difference that is besides the cute packaging and the price.
I HIGHLY recommend using a tube of acrylic/silicone from Home Depot or even Target. They cost around $2.50 for an entire tube which is more than enough for several projects.
I have been using DAP® ALEX ULTRA® Acrylic Latex Sealant Plus Silicone 230 Grade w/Microban® in a white tube with light blue text. I simply tape a star tipped cake topper to the nozzle and I'm good to go.
On a side note if you are new to Decoden I suggest viewing some youtube tutorials before beginning.

This product is a great alternative to the similar expensive items available from Japan. The one downside is that the extra creme bags do not come with the decorating caps, those only seem available with the kits proper. This is a great crafting product, though, and I just adore using it to decorate.
