Short Run TimeNov 12, 2011

I had my boat out on a local pond several times now and had it die in the middle of the pond twice. The boat is very nice, and well built but the battery life is short and unpredictable, there is no warning of the battery dying it dosn't slow down, it just stops. I decided to fully charge the battery and time, the run time, I got twelve mintutes of run time which I thought was short. I called the company to ask them what I can expect out of the battery. I was told if I got twelve minutes, that was good because the normal is about six minutes. I was realy dissapointed because I was expecting somewhere of at least thirty minutes. If you decide to purchase this boat, be aware of the short run time and keep it close to shore so it dosn't get stranded out in the middle like what happened to me. I am now searching for a battery that will fit and give me more run time.
