Fantastic case to carry all Thomas trainsMay 30, 2010 I bought this case for my 2 year old son's growing Thomas and Friends train collection. It's perfect. It's durable metal, and has open rows for storage. This is a great plus, because it can hold both the wooden trains as well as the smaller "take along" metal trains. The smaller trains can fit side by side, so the case can hold ALOT of them. The wooden engines can't fit side by side, but the case still holds a lot.
I have not had any durability issues so far...in fact, my son uses the cases quite frequently to stand and sit on, and he does not handle it gently! So far, so good.
Train case is great when travellingMar 25, 2010 This case works so well for transporting a good number of Thomas cars from one place to another. Easy opening latch, beautiful graphics. Love it.
Thomas Train Case - a little bit weakDec 21, 2009 We were a little disappointed in this case because it isn't very durable. My little boy has a lot of the die cast trains and about filled the case. Within the first couple of days, the latch broke off. Luckily, my husband is really handy and he fixed it with stronger rivets on the latch. But, it broke right off of the case, rendering it useless unless you can fix it.
Great tin train caseDec 12, 2009 I was glad to find a metal (not plastic) train case for my son's Thomas trains. In fact, I got two of them! It's a great place to store his trains and is easy for him to carry them around. It's thin, so the trains don't bounce around too much and it doesn't take up a lot of space. It has a nice handle, metal closure and is very colorful.
thomas toteMay 20, 2009 After all the iffy reviews, I still decided to get it since my nephew loves thomas. It has stood up so far but it does carry a lot less than I hoped for.
