I purchased one of these to get Thomas and his friends off of the floor when not being played with by my son. Well, I had to go back and get to more because it was great. My son calls it Thomas' house and doesn't have a problem putting his trains away by himself. The top can hold single engine trains and the bottom can hold those have a part to pull or even double engines. The wood that this is made out of is sturdy and it has a nice handle that can be carried by my son. He loves the fact that he can see his trains when they are in the caddy. However, because there aren't any doors to close them in I wouldn't recommend taking this on a road trip. Overall its a really good purchase and with three of them now he has them organized into steam engines, disiels and others.

The product is of very good quality and the price is a great bargain. Only disappointment was that it is for the take along trains. I thought it was a great display piece for the motorized trains which are much bigger but it's only for smaller trains. Overall it's a great product.

Great storage solution for your engines. We would have a mess of engines on the train table every night which made for a very hectic Island of Sodor. This has been key in restoring the peace each night and has been a great tool helping our 2 year old learn how to put things away. Highly recommend! I had read a couple months ago that this product was being discontinued so the price may continue to climb if it becomes hard to find. Overall, the caddy is really well made. The only thing that surprised me was the plastic dividers to keep the engines secure. I just assumed it would all be made out of wood.

This is such a well made item..nice wood, nice color!! It fits 18 trains, and the only thing i think would be better, if it was a bit bigger and fit like 25 trains but otherwise it's a great idea!
