 Great fun toy that also promotes hand-eye coordinationDec 29, 2010

My son got this toy for his 1st birthday and has spent the last 3 months playing with it on a daily bases (to be exact, he plays with it several times a day). The toy is just the right size for 1-year old, features vivid colors, and enough features (such as the reel) that challenge him to learn new skill, but aren't frustrating. He uses it in bath and in his play area, and he figured out that the magnet will 'catch' anything metalic and so he keeps catching everything he can including his little pots and pans, tug boats, etc. I was very impressed to see how focused he got on 'catching the fish' -- he is VERY active boy who doesn't like to slow down for a moment, but this toy manages to do just that. All in all, it's a great toy and great value. I feel it also has educational value and i would definitelly buy it again.

This fishing set is really great, and quite durable for 2 little boys who fight over it! I would highly recommend this for bathtime fun :)

My ten months old twins love playing with this set. We have a little pool on the patio where we put the three colorful fish and the little ones take turns fishing (with our help). the fishing rod is small and easy to hold for the little hands. The string is short which makes it safe for babies. The fish are very colorful and have expressive eyes - babies like holding them and releasing back into the pool.

This is a beatifully designed extremely well made toy. It took about a week for our 1 yr old twins to figure out how it works and now they are good little fishermen. They play by themselves or together and it's nice to see them concentrate and carefully do something. I'm very impressed with the quality - far better than the vast majority of plastic toys.

We got this for our 12 month old grandson. He loves going fishing! It is a very fun way to build his fine motor skills. Grandpa loves it too.
