I wish all the expansion cars had as much thought put into them as this set does.The Hippo's mouth opens and closes as you move the train. The animal cage car has a sliding door. My 2 year old loves both. Other cars to check out: The gold prospecting car which tumbles gold rocks as it moves.

I got this toy for my grandson's 3rd birthday. He spends countless hours playing with it. He likes moving the doors on the zoo car & talking to the hippo. Has been a great addition to his wooden railway set.

I can prove this set can make sombody act crazy. My best friend, who dislikes Thomas & Friends, Went NUTS when I showed him the Hippo car! This is a must have for animal lovers!

Very detailed and colorful 3-piece train set. The hippo's mouth moves up and down when pushed, and the door on the animal car slides open one way.
If your child likes trains or Thomas, this is a great starter set!
Works on Brio train tracks, too.

My 2 year old loves this product. It has magnets that hook the trains together and he has been able to create an even longer train with other magnet cars (e.g. from Dora the Explorer). The train pieces are very high quality and I believe will last for many years.
