My 9 year old daughter takes this to school and likes it a lot. It's the same size as a regular lunch pail. Very durable.

MY SON LOVES THIS LUNCHBOX. I COLLECT LUNCH BOXES FROM THE 1970'S AND IT REMINDS ME OF THOSE. COOL ITEM IF YOU LIKE SOCK MONKEYS.

This lunch box reminds me of something you would see when I was a small kid. It is very cute.

I bought this for my 5 year old niece who has a sock monkey doll which she loves. She was thrilled and puts all her junk in it to carry around. She says when school starts she will use it for a lunch box. I truly think it is a great purchase for the money.

I got this for my niece's 4th birthday. She's never seen sock monkeys before, so she really got a kick out of it...she couldn't stop giggling! I filled it with her "first lunch": a milk box (single juice boxes are surprisingly hard to find), Trader Joe's sea animals crackers...and a miniature Cars lunchbox to put inside (with little fruit chews in that lunchbox).

The only downside is that it is made of fairly thin metal. I don't remember what my lunch boxes were like as a kid, but she bent this cover pretty quickly...and she's not a destructive kid. I guess it's the trend these days.
