Nice Sesame Street toy with the Count but can frustrate some toddlers.Aug 23, 2011
By Tony D. My 25 month old boy became a fan of Count Von Count after playing at the Count's Castle (w/ the large water bucket) and 'meeting him' at Sesame Place. Since toys that feature the Count are sort of rare and my son likes that character along with "weyellow" buses, I immediately purchased this toy.
Pros : - Most children should be like my son and express pure excitement when the toy is first visible. - Includes another Elmo but this is the 'Back to School' version. Like other figures, he fits into 3 -4 spaces (or seats) in the bus. - The toy is pretty detailed and nicely colored. As expected, made entirely of plastic but it should hold-up. If anything breaks, it will be the thin door. - Not having a roof also allows this toy to act as a carrying case for room to room travel. - The door opens and the Count's heads moves when a button is pressed down (on the hood) - Has "1234568910" stickers on the sides for children to count.
Cons : - Some toddlers will get frustrated after learning The Count can not be removed from the bus. Couldn't Hasbro / Playskool design this toy with a removable Count figure along with the door feature?. After a few days of trying, my boy simply tells mom, "Count stuck" with a sad expression.
Summary: - Kids will play with it and find it fun. - Can be frustrating to some toddlers (I sampled a friend's son also). - Fairly priced. - Not much educational value itself. This shouldn't be a problem when parents play with their children. The wife and I sing "The Wheels on the Bus" with our son while holding this toy.

Overall GoodNov 15, 2011

My 21 month-old-son is in a phase where he loves to play with figurines and take them in and out of things, so Grandma bought him this bus. The first few days he hated it because the bus door doesn't stay open unless you keep pushing on the "open" trigger on the hood of the bus. He wanted to leave the door open so he could easily move the toys in and out. But he got over it. He carries the Elmo figurine all over the house ... I think he enjoys that more than the actual bus, but because the bus wheels do move, he has fun pushing the bus around on the coffee table. Overall, he and I are happy with this toy. You can get additional Seasame figurines that add to the fun.

Great Great Great!Jan 26, 2012
By LuciaO This bus is great. I have been more than happy with all of the sesame street products. They are really nice and well made and also NOT overpriced like some other toys. PLUS my daughter LOVES them all! She plays with the bus for long stretches at a time, putting in and taking out different characters, opening the door, making vroom sounds. She just loves us. Now--I DO wish that the count was detachable. And so did my daughter--but she got over it quickly when I gave her some other figures to put in there. We will probably get the other two vehicles they make as well--I wish they had a plane! I wish they had more stuff!
Good toy, well the Elmo is at least..Mar 29, 2012
By Christoph J This bus does not get used to often. It's probably because our daughter is spoiled as heck, but she rarely brings it out unless she wants to try to wear it like a skate. She much prefers her Little People car. The Elmo, though, is something she carries and plays with all the time. She likes to put him on the TV, in the fireplace, in shoes, in her dollhouse, in her crib, in her diaper pail, in my mouth, etc. She'll probably start playing with it once she learns a little more about going to school. Good toy quality overall.
Just a regular bus toy!Feb 16, 2012

This sesame street bus is just a regular bus. There is not much kids can do with it. They could improve it and add some sound to it. The only fun part is that one of the doors opens. I bought it at a sale. It's not worth to buy it if it's the regular price.
