great toy with one annoying drawbackOct 02, 2011
By V. Schucht
"mom of 4 who loves toys"
I think I would give this 4 1/2 stars if that was an option. We really like the toy. It is very easy to put the blocks in and take them out. they don't get stuck and a magnetic feature lets them slide in easily. the only thing I don't like is that there is a yellow button on the front you press to activate the "find it" game. my 14 month old is really too young for that game. but the button is irresistible to press. so once the game is activated, you have to switch the toy off to de-activate it and go back to the mode that is best for her (the mode where you just put a block in and it tells you what the letter is). well the other way to get back to that mode is (I think) to get three questions right in a row and/or 3 wrong in a row. Anyway, she loves elmo and she loves when elmo "talks" to her with his moving mouth. there are also two songs she loves to hear. Overall a great toy!

Love Elmo, but not how annoying this is!Jan 15, 2012
By Breanna Pollock So my 19 month old son is obsessed with anything Elmo. I bought this for him thinking that he would like the blocks and like playing with this Elmo in general. But about 5 mins of this toy I wanted to take out the batteries! I can stand some pretty annoying toys, but this is the worse one I've ever heard. He repeats himself way to often & if you get the block wrong he repeats him self some more... This is an educational toy for preschooler's that understand what's going on, but not for small children. Either buy this & turn the toy off or only get it for bigger kids!

Hate this toy!Mar 22, 2012
By Alyssa The toy could be great. Instead it repeats over and over if you get it wrong to find the right one. What kind of learning toy is that? You have to get them right or physically turn the toy off. If you put a block in, it should just say the sound and move on. There should be a "game button" on the bottom not the front in the eyes of toddlers. There should be more than 2 song blocks as well as my son LOVES to dance with elmo. He is 22 months. It is annoying, and I am trying to sell mine!
Great toy for toddlersFeb 08, 2012
By Vipul Katyal Our child (1yr old at present) liked this toy a lot. From day one it was hit. He will push the button and then Elmo starts to ask for a specific block. We showed how to put a block in Elmo's hand and now he can do it on his own. It is going to be more fun when he can recognize different letters and objects or persons on the cubes. Plain and simple but great toy.
Was disappointed with this toyFeb 05, 2012
By Jared Boyer This a fun, cute, elmo toy. My 18 mo. old loves that elmo talks and sings with him. BUT it is way to complicated for him. Elmo just keep repeating the same question over and over. My son can never figure out how to get the toy to sing, which is his favorite thing. He does enjoy putting the blocks in and taking them out, it is very easy . There is no way this toy is going to help my son with his ABCs. It is way more annoying then the average sound making toy. Would not recommend.
