Beware: Paint rubs offJun 23, 2011
By Kaya I bought these sock monkey nesting blocks on June 8th. By June 15th I noticed all the paint on the small monkey was completely smeared creating no distinguishable face. upon inspection another monkey also had a smeared face and parts of other monkeys had smeared paint as well. Don't know what they are using to paint these, but it's not effective. These are going back to the store.

the paint smeared!May 09, 2011
By lmk I bought this for my 3 year old since he enjoys playing with real Russian matryoshkas (wooden nesting dolls). He was mildly interested...however these are nowhere as interesting as real matryoshkas, since the monkeys are all pretty similar. The worst part is that the paint smeared on these monkeys...I don't know what they use for paint, but just by picking these up, I had paint on my fingers. I would never recommend buying these.

Cute idea...butMar 27, 2012
By Jamie My 4 year old daughter loves monkeys and I was so excited when I saw these. My daughter got a set for her birthday and within 15 minutes of opening the box and playing with them the paint was almost completely worn off of every single one of them. Oh dear, they look more like little brown suppositories than monkeys now. Do not waste your money.

Got suckered, can find a lot cheaper elsewhereMar 25, 2011
By Laura B My son is 15 months and likes to play with things that have lids on them so he can pull them off and put them back on. I thought these sock monkeys would be fun for him to play with since you can take them apart. I only gave him the larger monkeys since the smaller ones can be a choking hazard. Unfortunately right now they don't interest him that much. He played with them for an hour and that's about it. Also, just the other day saw this same exact toy at Target for only $6.00 regular price!
Cute for a little whileJan 14, 2012
By Mommy of Three The monkeys are very cute, but their faces wore off within the first month. The littlest monkey is pretty small too... not good for babies
