I bought this tea set for my 6 year old's American Girl Doll tea party. I actually bought 2 sets and set up a tea table for the dolls. All the girls got to bring the tea cup and saucer and small plate which we put a cookie on, home. Ever since the party, my 2 girls each have their own tea pot, tray and teacup, saucer and plate and have been having tea with everything. Its very cute. They are 4 and 6 years old and wasnt sure they would be interested in it at all after the party. They actually put water in it and I dont have to worry about it breaking. I would recommend this and will buy for other girls.
