Learning the complex skill of expressing and understanding emotion is just one of the tasks at hand in this cozy 18-piece puzzle box. Children complete Emma the Bear from ears to paw, by giving her one of six mood faces (pleased in one, worried in another), as well as a virtual buffet of outfits. Each "finished" Emma consists of three pieces, which young puzzle mavens can mix and match at whim.

One of my daughters favorite toysJan 11, 2011
By Mel This has been a great toy to teach our 2 year old to recognize her different emotions. I'll ask her to tell me why Emma bear is happy then I'll suggest things that make my daughter happy or sad and so forth. She especially likes it because the bear has the same name as her. Fun and educational.
Great Puzzle for Learning FeelingsSep 13, 2010

I got this for my 1 1/2 year old. She really loved it. It gave me a chance to talk to her about feelings, since each face has a different feeling. She also loves matching the outfits and putting the pieces into the cutout. She also likes lining all the outfits up and mixing and matching them. I like that it comes in a little box to keep all the peices together. We have had this for several months and have been able to keep all the peices. It is great for a starting puzzle. The pieces are wooden and durable. Overall a really great toy.
