EFFING AMAZINGMay 25, 2009
By E. Carter I went back and forth between ordering this T Rex figure and another one, in the end I chose this one and IT IS AMAZING. It's detail is FANTASTIC. It is really sturdy and has no problem standing on it's own. Mine is named Ice T-Rex.

Great modelNov 08, 2010
By Marrisa E. Prinz My boys are obsessed with T-Rex's,so we ordered these for them. They play with them all the time. Very realistic, very detailed. Mouth is open - which i s a plus, since these T-Rex's have "eaten" quite a bit already. Keep in mind, this is a large model, very solid (it sinks in the water), and quite heavy. I think it would be too heavy for a child under 3 or so. I expect this dino model will outlast all the others we have. They've been in the bathtub MULTIPLE times, and the paint still looks new, unlike others.

Realistic!Dec 21, 2010
By Sherrie Mock I ordered this for my great nephew and while I haven't given him the gift yet, I'm sure he will be thrilled! The tyrannosaurus is realistic, durable, and when compared with the to-scale human (which is included), a little scary! I can't wait to give it to him!

The stance is just wrongDec 14, 2011
By RavenGeo As a biologist I couldn't resist on commenting on how old school (and wrong) the stance is on this model. The "Hunting" T-Rex by the same company is much more in tune with what current thinking is on how dinos in general and T-Rex specifically looked and went around in their daily lives. Read Robert Baker's milestone book "The Dinosaur Heresies" if you want to really understand why T-Rex didn't look like this model.

Good looking exept for its awkward stanceMar 11, 2011
By LC Schleich Tyrannosaurus Rex has its ups and downs.
I don't like the pose. It looks too straight. Its head and tail should be parallel to the floor. The posture is almost human like. The other problem is that it's hard to keep it in a standing position. I would have expected that the reason of its awkward stance was to keep it from falling to easy, but it does anyway.
On the other hand I love the details and the durability of the materials.
