5Puzzle GlueMar 27, 2008
By A. White "Art Teacher"
This is my first time using puzzle glue. The glue was easy to use and was an easy clean up. The glue is applied using a white thick paper tool. The only disappointment was that when applying more than one coat of glue I washed the tool off with hot water, in which made the tool a little less even(warped). If the tool was made of plastic I would think it could cause the puzzle to tear. It is best to use the provided tool but try not to run water over it too long if you are going to use it again in the future. The bottle of glue did not have any directions on the tool other than to poor the glue in the middle of the puzzle and spread over evenly. The tool can be used multiple times. I did three glue applications to the puzzle, two on top and one on the bottom. I did use wax paper under the puzzle for the glue application. The directions state to use newspaper, but if the glue is to run off on the edge you risk the chance of the puzzle being stuck to the newspaper. Stick with the wax paper underneath and allow enough time for the puzzle to completely dry before applying another coat. The puzzle was very stiff from the product and is in excellent preservation condition. From an art teacher perspective this is an easy to use and easy to clean up product. I highly recommend it.

good quality glue. but....i would recommend getting a brush and brushing on the glue. don't use the cardboard spreader that's included.

5GREAT puzzle glueMar 08, 2011
By horsey
I LOVE doing puzzles and since I do so many I rarely have the space or time to frame all of them. I have used many different types of puzzle glue or other adhesives in the past but this has to be the best I have used to far and the only one with a TRULY reusable applicator. It takes very little time to dry and I found that I didn't even have to glue both sides before pinning the puzzle to the wall. The best thing about this glue however has to be the cleanup because the glue dries into a clear film that is easy to peel off your fingers or anything else that it may have gotten on. I would DEFINITELY recommend this product and I am going to stock up on it myself and will probably never use any other product.

3Less glue than expected...Aug 10, 2011
By Kat
The online description says the bottle contains 5 oz of glue and is enough to cover up to a 3,000 piece puzzle. The bottle I received is 4 oz and says it covers up to two 1,000 piece puzzles. This was more than a little annoying since I wanted to glue a 3,000 piece puzzle. That being said, I went ahead and glued it anyway (contrary to other previous reviews, it came with a plastic spreader, not cardboard), and I think it did okay covering it. I'm still waiting for the glue to dry, so we'll see if I need to be really angry about the misleading information or not.

Application was very easy, seems to dry in a clear film that peeled off easily from where I spilled a drop on my table.

5Great puzzle glue!Sep 23, 2010

So a lot of people complained that this product came with a cardboard spreader that doesn't work well. The cardboard spreader actually does a great job, it allows you to pour the glue on the puzzle and spread it in great sweeps- making the process faster. This is a great glue and works perfectly to glue your puzzle. One bottle pretty much works for one puzzle. I put two layers on top and one on bottom and I only have a small amount of glue left. A piece of advice- the directions say it needs only an hour to dry and after about an hour or so it is relatively dry but if you flip it over to do the back it is still sticky enough to stick to the surface of whatever you are laying the puzzle on. Unfortunately my impatience and eagerness to be done caused me to ruin the puzzle as it stuck to the surface and ended up peeling off some of the picture. I will have to redo the puzzle and reglue it :( I would suggest letting it dry for 2 hours or so before flipping it. Also, it leaves no residue so the picture is unaffected by the glue- it actually makes a nice glossy shine.
