Too hard for kidsOct 20, 2010
By j's mom My daughter got this for a birthday present and it is impossible for kids to use. The only thing that is kid friendly is the scissors.

Tools lame -- cleanup hardMay 09, 2009
By Brittany Mahig I bought this for my son from Toys R Us, today, for $9.99. He seems to like it enough, but the tools kind of stink. They look nice, but the one that's supposed to make the play-doh twisty just makes it come out shaped like a log... woo. the other two toys just basically make stamps.
When it comes time to clean up, you'll be searching for pen caps to dig the play-doh out of the insides of the mechanisms, so it won't dry that way.

one of the worst play-doh kitsDec 21, 2009
By A. Brooks The tools that come with this set are not easy to use. There are 2 stampers. One is a cross between useless and lame, and the other is a cross between disappointing and frustrating. The squeezie twisty tube thing is too hard for children 4 and under to load and use, and the stuff that squeezes out is 3 strings--not very exciting. There are much better Play-doh kits out there. Don't get this one.

Super Duper Fun!Dec 29, 2010

"Fine Motor Skills"
I use these play doh tools with my OT students to help them develop motor planning, hand strengthening and, in the case of the the Confetti Maker, bi-manual skills. My kids love this activity because of the tactile/sensory component, and I love helping them to develop important skills that will aid in their development. So, consider this toy Occupational Therapist approved!
Kids always need help of an adult and it's hard to clean.May 10, 2011
By Parsley Diva This is one of the worst toys we have to play with playdoh. My kids always need help to screw the cap on to the confetti maker and playdoh gets stuck in the bottom of this toy like previous reviewer said. My kids have more fun playing with little plastic animals with the playdoh and creating imaginary scenes.
