It is exactly as it states and look as such. I believe that if you are willing to sit with your children, you will find that there are plenty of educational methods to teach your child/children math. The only thing I do not like, and it has nothing to do with the seller, is repacking the doh. This is the only downfall for the item. However, if mixing the colors is not an issue, then Go for this item. It is like any other play-doh product where mixing colors is inevitable at some point. Mix the colors once and you will be playing with mixed doh for the duration of keeping the product. But my girls are 2 and 3 years old so they do not mind lol! It is a fun way to teach learning. Have fun! :)
