5-year-old daughter sez: "It's awesome, the most gorgeous castle ever. The unicorns are gorgeous, beautiful, nice, pretty, all kinds of that stuff."
I sez: There's lots of tiny pieces (flower blossoms and the like) but they all seal up tight in the "storage" area in the castle doors. I have a 10-month-old crawling around and he'd swallow some of these pieces easily, but having them all go in the castle (hint: lay it flat, the unicorns and princess DO fit without any force) means they won't be left out, or fall out. It's a nice design.
I also liked that this was made in Germany, not CHINA, as i prefer to not risk poisoning my kids with unsafe plastics, adhesives, and paint.

Great little castle.. though I will repeat "little!" Be careful the little pieces (like all Playmobile parts) are easily lost. My daughter loves it though! The only reason I rate a "4" is due to size and usage of the castle. You really can't do anything with the "inside" of the castle, but good for storage. I'd definitely buy again though!

My 5yo son loves Playmobil. LOVES. My daughter often wants to play with him. I picked her up a few sets for Christmas, and she is thrilled to have her own Playmobil toys. They are great quality and have a lot of deatil, I think that is why the kids enjoy them so much. This set is great to take along to play, or set up at home. Yea it has some small pieces, but they can be packed away until you daughter is old enough to use them. She loves the little castle, and has anjoyed playing with it so far. I am sure we will get years of use from it.

My daughter (age 6) loves two things: unicorns and moms with babies. So I had to get her this set. She loves it. It's been very nice for her to play with her brother and his playmobil knights set. Very good creative play. I also love how every thing fits into the carrying case. Overall a great buy, especially for the price.

Generally speaking I don't like Playmobil toys (lots of tiny parts that get lost and come apart easily, long time to assemble, choking hazards for younger siblings). This, however, I think is one of their better designs. There are fewer little pieces and the parts there are can be stored in the castle itself. I plan on throwing out the little birds and flowers and letting my 3 year old have it.
