After looking at all kinds of reviews about the other castles Playmobil makes, I still decided to purchase the castle. Many folks complained about the caslte coming apart. This Castle does not come apart. The only piece that has come off is the drawbridge. But after my 4 year old saw he needed to be gentle with that piece it has not been a problem. Took about a week for him to figure that out. The second thing that keeps coming apart is the red dragon, the wings don't like to stay on. Is this a deterent for my child, No. He loves this castle and plays with it for hours. It has stretched his imagination and encouraged playing alone. The crossbow shoots a great distance, which he is always shooting one of the characters or the dragon. He also likes to have the trap door triggered for the people to fall into, and the spike to drop on the dragon.
Putting this castle together took my wife and I about 75 minutes to completely put the castle and characters together. The detail is incredible! The quality is excellent! Neither one of us has ever purchased a playmobil product. We are not dissappointed.

My son loves the castle. He is four years old. My husband and I put this together on Christmas Eve in about a 1.5 hours. His face on Christmas morning was priceless. He plays with this item for about an hour a day and we have not noticed any of the pieces falling off. We are very pleased with the item and all Playmobil items we have purchased as we also purchased the Dungeon. Great for imaginative play and all the little pieces are good for developing fine motor skills. We are very pleased.

My kids are hooked on this dragon castle. We have another playmobil unicorn castle and between the two they have so much fun.. The only downfall is that we have to keep putting it up out of the reach of my 1 year old. Lot's of small parts are also hard to keep track of but overall we love it...

Nice dragon set to start playing with this series.
It develops kids' imagination : they can play a lot of different stories.
You will have enough elements in the set to play for a long time.
The quality of the toy is very good.
Pricey but worth it!May 28, 2013

This became the center of all attention at my son's 5th birthday party. Putting it together was a bit complicated, but definitely part of the fun and the "wow factor" was awesome to witness! Still enjoys lots of attention from two bays aged 6 and 5 each day.
