 Mighty River - Great play toy!Jan 23, 2010
I am five years old. My "Bama" (grandmother) gave me Mighty River Explorer Adventure for Christmas. Daddy + me set it up + we played and played all day. We put together the explorers' equipment and outfitted them for the river trip. There was an alligator swimming alongside the boat trying to bite the people! Makes me think fast to try to save the people! It was such fun + I love to play it -- this is set up in my downstairs playroom now for me + my friends to jump in anytime for FUN to pretend we are on the boat like the people onboard and fighting off the alligator!

It is Christmas Day and we have just unpacked this set. The motors for the boat have both broke, the hitch for the trailer does not work and there are no instructions. Overall, we are not at all impressed by the quality of this toy at all and will not be purchasing additional items from Mighty World. My son is having a great time playing with the motor-less boat and loves the crocodile and other accessories. Too bad about the quality.

My son received this when he was 2 and a half for Christmas. He loved it and still does 2 years later. He and his twin sister have had more fun with this in and out of the bath tub. The set comes with a ton of pieces (you will want to put them in a ziplock to keep them together). The diving gear, boat, and truck are all a lot of fun. The pieces have all held up very well for us and the truck is still fully in tact. I just ordered one for a friend.

My son has spent hours engrossed in this toy, creating adventures he is eager to share with us. It has many parts that he loves to interchange and even though he's only 3 1/2, he is able to do it all himself. He plays with in the bath and out. His enthusiasm for this and all the Mighty World toys he has makes them fun for us, too.
