Not much to say, it's chalk and it works.
I've had a few that were difficult to use on various chalk boards my child has, but these didn't require an inordinate amount of pressure to write, the sticks don't break as easy as some have in the past, and they're legible on the board.

This chalk is durable and perfect for my grand daughter's easel. It is not easily broken.

a few pieces were broken during shipment, but that is ok - i would break them anyway for my toddler to play with. they write easily on the board, and they erase just as well. my baby has tried to eat a few pieces so even after it is wet with slobber and dry, it still works well. (and, she's suffered no consequence from her chalk tasting...)

No wonder it has 3 stars. No dust huh? As soon as I opened the box a cloud of dust flew out, then when I pulled 3 out they were broken into pieces. To make things worse, the no dust "feature" means that the dust stays on your chalkboard. I use the "Melissa And Doug Chalk Eraser" and the white chalk smear was extremely noticeable, way to go! Right after I had cleaned the chalk-board with wet cloth, well there you go. This chalk smears as much as the color chalk, and I always hated color chalk because of how much it smears and stains.
Just my two cents. It might work for some people but not for us, sorry.

The chalk works well with the chalkboard we purchased. It often does not erase well with the chalk eraser and I end up having to clean it with a damp cloth.
