This watering can is not only cute, but it is practicle. I bought the Melissa and Doug watering can with flowers twice and it broke both times within a week (I have girls that are pretty gentle on things, but one drop and the flower watering breaks).
This is made out of slightly different material but it is what makes it way more durable. And it is really, really adorable.

My toddler emulates everything we do, and she loves to help water our house plants. This little watering can is a good size and weight for her little hands, and she can help us now without risking dropping a heavy adult-sized watering can.

Kiddos love to water plants-- its all about copying the grown-up, playing with water, and being independent. We've tried a few different watering cans, but they are usually way to heavy for little ones and not sized for kiddo hands.
This Melissa & Doug Watering Can is a HIT! It is bright and colorful, sized PERFECTLY for young children, and holds enough water to be fun without getting too heavy. Its super durable, made of very strong plastic, and high quality.
Can't recommend this enough-- perfect for spring and summer in the garden with children.

My 2 year old loves watering the plants, but it was hard for him to use our watering cans. They were too big and heavy. This one is just the right size. It carries a good amount of water, but it doesn't slosh out when he carries it. I like that the spout is open, rather than a spout with multiple little shower sprinkles. This means it won't get clogged up with dirt or sand. Not only does he water the flowers every day, but we also take it to the beach to fill the moats. Cute, sturdy, good value, and fun.
