Better than I expectedMay 31, 2011

I am very satisfied with this spray bottle. I use this while changing my son since we have done away with baby wipes. Commercial baby wipes have a frightening amount of toxins listed in the ingredients.
I mostly ordered this because it was green so would tie in nicely with out nursery's color scheme. The reviews I read warned that the water came out in a stream and this spray bottle could not handle any liquid other then water. I placed the order for it anyway. I wasn't expecting much. I have now owned this so cute bottle for about five weeks. I am beyond happy that neither reviewer was right. I fill mine with mineral oil and water. So far it's held up a stready spray (I use this many times a day (:) and the spray comes out as a, well, spray. A gentle spray at that! If that makes sense to anyone :).
On the side of the bottle it says 'Be good to bugs' I love it.
I am not only satisfied with this purchase I LOVE it, and recommend to any parent who craves style and substance.

I don't use this as a toy, but love itJan 01, 2012

As I started to write this review I noticed that I was being asked questions about a toy, so the first thing I want to say is I don't use it as a toy nor did I purchase it as one. I bought it for my daughter to use for changing her baby's nappies on a 16 hour international flight. I thought wipes are great, but 16 hours (flight only) is a long time not to have any water washes for my granddaughter. I thought she would arrive very sore and not give her mummy the sleep she would need once she arrived.
So I instructed my daughter to use the wipes first and then a Johnson's Baby Bath solution very, very weak in this to give a good clean. This I thought would avoid spills in flight. I believe I got the idea of using it for baby bottom hygiene, from a review another mother wrote. It was great in flight and is now great in baby's bag for sticky hands and more :). Seems good quality, stands up to usage and the turtles amuse my granddaughter. Overall, I like it, a good purchase.
The manufacturer writes in the product description 'easy way to beat the heat, I assume for spraying water on the face, I wonder if they imagined it would be used so much for the other end :)!

Bought this to use with my cloth wipes. The bottle instructions say "for water use only", but I hope that putting some oil and some baby shampoo in there as well, will be perfectly fine. Bottle is just as cute as in the picture. I read a review here that the bottle only sprays in one hard stream. The one I got doesn't. You can chose between that and a soft stream that makes it all kind of damp instead (in lack of a better way of describing it).

This spray bottle is made of good quality plastic and it matches the green kitchen decor. It looks unique so the kids know it's the one to use for cleaning up. I filled it with water, a bit of vinegar and some cleaning solution. I will save money in the long run instead of always buying commercial products.
