I bought this for my niece (4) and nephew (2) when I went to visit them last month. They were ABSOLUTELY DELIGHTED when they saw these and used them for the first time. The fact that they didn't roll off the table made it so easy for them to use. The shape of the crayon made it easier for my nephew to hold. The container made it simple for them to put away their crayons and clean up their art area.
I took off one star for the color selection. There are three shades of green, yet only one shade of blue. There is a purple-bluish shade as well, but it is more purple than blue so I don't think that counts. I can see the single blue getting worn out quickly since it is a common shade to color with. Other than that, they are perfect! I would purchase it again, even with the lack of blues, in the future.

Melissa & Doug Take-Along Jumbo Crayon Set is the best set of crayons made for little hands that I have ever encountered. I have used every brand/combination on the planet, from crazy expensive products marketed towards homeschoolers to Crayola to making my own. They are seriously unbreakable, the colors are vivid, and a two-year-old can really get down and draw with this for hours. LOVE!

My son is 19 months and loves to color. The regular Crayola were no match for him and instantly in pieces. I found these crayons on Amazon and they are perfect for him. They are large enough for him to handle and very durable. The carrying case is great too. I highly recommend these crayons for young toddlers who are just learning to color.

These crayons color beautifully and are virtually indestructible, which says a lot with my two year old. They also come off furniture and walls easier than wax based crayons. I will never buy Crayolas again!

I take this along with a coloring book whenever I go out with my son to restaurants. The jumbo crayons are great for little hands and the color selection is great for any bored toddlers. A must for any parent that needs an hour of a peaceful meal in a toddler world.
