 No Squiggling or WigglingApr 05, 2010

The description is misleading or at least not clear. My cat has a rubber "snake" that she loves to play with so I was excited to find this "squiggling and wiggling" collection. My assumption was that these would be pliable toys but they are in fact made of a rigid material. The cat wasn't interested. Neither was the neighbor's 3-year-old boy who also loves the rubber snake. They are cute and durable, thus well suited as decorative items. As toys? Maybe, but a more accurate description would help.

If you know what to expect when ordering these, you will be very happy with your purchase. Most negative reviews seems to be disappionted by the description not being accurate, so I'll try to help:
This is a set of six colorful, plastic play snakes. They are each approximately 6 inches long. Very well sized for toddlers and young children. They vary in bright colors-- our set included yellow, green, blue, orange, pink, and navy. They are made of rigid plastic. These snakes do NOT wiggle or move. They are sturdy, durable, and very well-made.
I bought these for warm-weather outdoors play. They are perfect to hide in the grass, play with in a water table, or use as a "hide and seek" with a magnifying glass in the garden. This is not a stand-alone toy-- you will need some imagination, but they are great!!!

"Grandmother"
I purchased these colorful snakes to put in the rock garden among the gerbera daises. The grackles were tearing petals from the flowers. They are colorful and surprising in the garden and the grandchildren enjoy hunting for them.

Great for play. My grand children love playng with these and the Sunny Patch Happy Giddy Bug House from Melissa and Doug was a great home for them.

Super disappointed with this bag a snakes. I could not tell from the picture that they were not flexible or how large they were. They are hard and small. That does not make them fun at all! I would never advise buying these snakes.
