We got one for our three year old girl. She loves it. It's been in the bathtub and it still works. It was a bit flickery like others have mentioned but all you need to do is stretch the contact spring a little and that fixes that. Made of hard plastic so very durable.

I have been terribly disappointed with Melissa and Doug products in the past, but when I saw this flash light it was so cute and perfect for my son that I decided to give them another try. Oh boy! What a piece of junk! It is so poorly designed that the batteries were always lose and thus the light wont stay on. I returned it. Ridiculous, rip off. My son was so sad. It was suppose to be his birthday present.

I have had this thing for a year and can not figure out how to open it. Help! I've tried pressing in on the side/top yellow part and twisting the top...

My son loves flashlights- and this one is very cute- too bad it doesn't really "light". If you stick your eye close to it you can see the blub is on- but it emits no light at all- its really disappointing.
