Only Single DigitsMay 15, 2007
By geeper Numbers 10 through 20 are not single pieces - which is different from what's described above. There are actually 32 individual digits (plus the 5 math signs):
3 pieces of number 0 12 of number 1 3 of number 2 2 of numbers 3-9.
The odd digits are either green or yellow, and even digits are red or blue (Except "1" pieces which also come in red and blue, apparently to be used for the even teen numbers).
My set seems to have a green 1 that should be yellow to make for a nice color pattern (red, green, blue, yellow) from 0-20. Instead the number 19 has a green 1 and yellow 9.
But it seems somebody thought the color scheme through, so maybe I just got an off set.

Great magnetic numbers!May 07, 2007

We bought these and the wooden letters for our son for xmas at 20 months. He loves them and now knew all his numbers and letters before age two...they continue to hold his interest and he plays with them on the fridge while I cook in the kitchen. Only downfall is he still likes to chew on them now and again and the paper coating is certainly not meant to be sucked on! (our fault, not the company's!)

Great learning toolFeb 03, 2009
By D. King With more than one of each number, it make it easy to show young ones math skills. The wooden numbers are durable and the magnets cover the whole back of the number so you don't have to worry about them falling off the fridge or magnetic board.

Not what I expectedApr 07, 2009

It would have been nice to have been informed that these pieces are only a few inches long. I assumed by looking at the photos that these were about twice the size, so I was disappointed. My children only played with them once for a little bit and haven't touched them ever since.

Melissa & Doug Magnetic NumbersJul 23, 2011
By Caleb The numbers are great - I bought two sets of letters and a set of numbers and my three year old has quickly learned what each number is. I can see in the future that she will love creating her own sums. Teh magnets are fantastic and cover the whole number so they don't fall off and are very hard to bump off.
