More than ordinary brushes!May 20, 2008
By J. Arena Melissa & Doug Jumbo Paint Brushes are more than a set of quality, colorful art brushes. They provide the opportunity for differently abled people to have the freedom of painting once again, because these brushes are built so that they are easy to grip.
That is a value beyond price.
TEN stars!

Good toddler brushesJun 12, 2008
By Patricia Froyd We gave my daughter these brushes to go along with her easel and paint for her third birthday. She can grip them well with her little hands and even paints with one in each hand sometimes. They are just right for a young child and seem to be good quality. Every once in a while when I'm cleaning the paint out, a bristle comes out, but it's not too often.
I'd recommend these to anyone looking for paint brushes for a child under the age of 5.

perfect for little handsNov 19, 2008
By Crystal My daughter is 2 years old and she loves these brushes. They are perfect for her little hands. The quality is nice to. No bristles fall out.

poor qualityAug 16, 2010
Although these brushes are easy to hold for little kids the quality of the bristles is extremely poor. They don't absorb the colors at all (especially with the Melissa & Doug watercolors which are of equally poor quality) and it was very frustrating for my 2-year old to try to get color on paper. We used them once and never again.

Paint Brushes-grandma bought themJan 07, 2010
By Terri L. Massucci
"Mimi"
These paint brushes are great for little ones hands. I dislike the ones that have the pointy ends for under 2 thru 4 year olds. But I was disappointed that after I paid so much on-line, I found them at Borders for only $[...]. I had never seen them prior at any retail store until after I bought them. Oh well...the grandkids love them and I love seeing them be creative and not afraid of a mess...it all cleans up!
