Our first reaction was, "Wow this looks like real furniture!" This dollhouse living room set is very life-like and would be great in human size! It is very sturdy, well-made, and comes packaged securely to prevent damage in shipping. Fits very nicely in the matching dollhouse and is absolutely adorable!

The set is beautiful and realistic looking. The table has a real drawer, and the doors to the armoire open and close. The sofa, chairs, and ottoman are upholstered replicas of the real thing. Truly, the set is very cute. I purchased this living room set, after purchasing the Melissa and Doug Victorian Doll House. My seven-year old daughter likes to redecorate the house every time she plays. Just from moving the furniture around, in a matter of one week, all the wooden pieces have come apart. It's as if they did not apply enough glue, or the glue that was used is not very strong. In any case, ALL of the wooden pieces need to be reassembled. It's still a beautiful set, but my motto is, "If you're going to do anything, do it well." The glue connections SHOULD be stronger, but at least they disassembled cleanly. Therefore, they should be easy to put back together again.

Very disappointed in the Melissa & Doug furniture. I purchased living room, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom furniture sets for my 4-year old daughter's doll house. Without exaggeration, almost all of the furniture has broken. Some of the furniture came out of the package broken. I have had to glue it all back together. My daughter is not rough with the furniture; it just breaks very easily. I would NOT recommend this furniture nor will I purchase any more. The quality of assembly is simply not there and the price is a too high.

I love this living room, it looks durable, elegant and very well hand crafted. The bigger table has a tiny drawer that you can open up, you can also open the doors of the cabinet and the couches are very well done. It's a perfect set for a doll house!!
