These are "real" puppets!Apr 23, 2008

I still can't believe the quality of these puppets! We have the cowgirl, the chef and the ballerina. All of them are so professonal and durable. Many details: you can use them with or without the stick provided, there are holes in the bottom of each puppet's hand to insert the pole and in the holes there is velcro to fasten it to. The outfits are beautifully made and not a stitch out of place. Our 4 year old daugther is mesmerized by these puppets and I'm sure we've lit a creative spark. Just ordered the construction guy and the cheerleader today. Can't wait. Use with the Reeve and Jones doorway puppet theater!

I ordered this cowgirl puppet and also a cowboy puppet to use for our western themed vacation bible school which will be in early August. I can't wait to use them. They are of good quality and was shipped quickly.

This is a beautifully crafted and detailed puppet. I had high expectations and was not disappointed. It has already provided hours of creative fun with the kids. It is better suited for slightly older children as it is rather large and bulky. Awesome puppet.

I love this puppet so well made so realistis. My great niece was very happy only two and a half and a little timid of side saddle Sally I think she thought the puppet was real. Very satified with this product.

After buying several other Melissa and Doug puppets, my four year old daughter was dying for a girl puppet. She looked with me online and picked out this Cowgirl puppet, which we later picked up for her for Christmas from her grandparents.
She loves it. It is well crafted like the other Melissa and Doug puppets and well worth it for the price on Amazon. Our local toy shop has them for around $20 and we bought it for under $15 on Amazon
You can put one hand up the body and into the mouth to make the mouth move. You can do some pretty funny expressions. With the other hand, you hold a thin wooden stick and you can move one of the hands. Our family has had a lot of fun puppet shows with these.
