This was a gift for my son who will be three at the end of the year. He LOVES it!! Plays with it every day. Vest is easy for toddlers and preschools to take on and off unassisted. Goggle are just loose enough not to leave a mark, but tight enough to stay on. The little hat is slightly big on my son, but a stuck a wsh rag in the side between the hat and the adjuster and it fits perfectly. Little pockets hold the tools perfectly and are easy for a child to put in and take out. Love the fact the vest is machine washable, as my son has a lo of allergies and I need things that can be washed often in HOT. He fixes any and everything you can think of. He is constantly asking what he can fix next or build next. Built me a nice new house after breakfast. The saw will actually cut a cardboard box, even though it is not sharp like a real tool. He gets a giant kick out of that. Hats off to Melissa and Doug. This one is a winner.

Great dress up set! Very durable and realistic! My son used this for his Halloween costume and still plays in it for hours. Love it!

My 3-year old son really likes this construction worker play set. The vest is very authentic. Everything seems to be pretty well-made and durable. The only drawback is the pockets in the vest are not deep enough to hold the hammer or saw, hence 4 stars and not 5 stars.

I bought this for my almost 3 year old boy for Halloween. He is rather tall for his age and about 33 pounds...so kind of long and skinny. The vest is well made but not all that adjustable for different sizes. It's a little big on him but not unreasonable. It might not fit a small child. He loves it and is very proud to be a construction worker. The tools fit well and the helmet size is adjustable for different head sizes. I only wish we could use the name tag again (like a wipe-able nametag). We used marker on the nametag because the pencil just wasn't dark enough to really be legible.

I ordered this for my 3.5 year old to wear for Halloween. He is very small for his age and the vest was far too big for him but he insisted on wearing it anyway! I was pleased that the vest is very well constructed and not like most costumes that fall apart easily. The hard hat is adjustable, and the hammer and saw that came with this are well-made enough that he (AND his 1.5 year old brother) will have a lot of fun playing "construction worker" for quite a while.
