This is so bright and colorful - and would be perfect , if not for the tiny size !! I read reviews, and decided to order anyway, thinking it would not be like a huge tote, but large enough for a few beach toys - since that is what it is intended for !! Silly me.... the closest description I came up with is that the size is comparable to those 99 cent re-usable shopping bags they sell at the checkstands !! Along with this , I ordered the Melissa and Doug beach pail and cupcake maker. The bucket will not fit, only the cupcake tray will barely fit in there. If they made this 4-5 times this size, you could actually use it for its intended purpose !!

This is a small beach bag. If you want to carry towels, sunscreen, food, etc, look elsewhere. But if you want to carry a few beach toys, and more importantly if you want to teach your toddler/ preschooler to carry their own toys, this is great.
It is slightly tapered at the top, (ie wider at the bottom) which means that it can require a little wiggling to get the bigger toys down into the bag. The advantage of this though is that once inside it is harder for toys to fall out, which I find great with a little one. The mesh bottom is sheer brilliance - most of the sand falls out before you get to the car, and wet toys air well and dry out. We fit a small bucket, spade, rake and castle mold into it, then use the little side pockets to hold some matchbox cars or little plastic figurines.
I really like this for a little kid. It won't fit a huge amount, so perhaps not so good for older.

....but it does not hold very much. I bought this bag to hold my daughter's Melissa and Doug sand toys but I can barely fit one set of toys in it. The bag is of great construction but is not best suited for toting children's beach toys.

Cutest bag ever--love the quality--was shipped in a timely manner--love the product--would definitely recommend purchasing from this seller!! Bought this for my g'daughter as a beach bag for her toys for Florida--can't wait to surprise her! I would absolutely purchase from this seller again!

I got this for my 3 year old Grand daughter for her visits to the beach or just as a 'go anywhere' tote. It is soooo cute and seems to be very durable (heavy canvas)
