Good but DangerousSep 12, 2005
I bought this after reading some reviews on Amazon. The product itself is good but playing with it might be a little dangerous. My 2 year old got a couple of cuts from the very sharp edges of the blocks, so I put them away for a while. If the manufacturer can round off the edges a bit, then this can be a very useful product.
Another bad thing is the paint that comes off very easily even with little wetness. So, make sure your little one doesn't put these in their mouth.

TINY - REALLY TINY BLOCKS - DO NOT PURCHASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!Jan 01, 2010
I'm so very disappointed in this item. I thought the blocks would be much bigger. The blocks are so small, I was afraid my granddaughter would put them in her mouth. I did not even unwrap the item. The block size is right at 1"... DO YOU KNOW HOW SMALL 1 INCH IS??? Melissa & Doug should be ashamed of themselves for putting this item on the market. The blocks SHOULD BE TWICE THE SIZE FOR SAFETY alone. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM. IT'S NOT A SAFE TOY.

Baby's favorite toy, but chips.Jul 07, 2009
By V. Ho
This has become our son's favorite toy to play with. He is 10 months old and loves pulling the cart towards him, hitting the blocks together, and mouthing the blocks. I gave the toy 5 stars for "fun".
As a mother though, I found the block's edges way too sharp. I had to sand each block down which took at least 30 min with sand paper to smoothen down the sharp edges and points. This should have been done by the toy manufacturer. Also 2 days after we received the blocks, i found some wood on our floor that sheared off one of the blocks, which could have been a choking hazard.
If i were to buy them again though, I would, just because my son has so much fun with them. The manufacturer should take some time to make the block safer for children though.

Not only ABCs!Aug 28, 2007
By E. Theobald
A big bonus after opening this product was that the blocks had pictures of animals, fruit, veggies, numbers, etc. in addition to the ABCs. Due to the multi-sided blocks, we can play other types of games (including sorting, identification of familiar objects, colors, etc). The blocks are fairly small but do not seem to be choking hazards, and they are stackable for older toddlers. All in all, a great educational toy at a great price in a neat rolling container.

skip the wagon, just get the blocksDec 17, 2005
By H. Pagliughi
Due to strangulation concerns I'm sure, the pull on the wagon is so short my son has always had to bend down to pull it. It also is difficult and awkward to store even though it isn't that large, though i don't have the best storage set up, so that might just be my problem! The blocks stack well and look nice. We've done away with the wagon.
