solid toy, lots of fun.Oct 19, 2009
By minnmom This is a great little walker. It's sturdy enough that it doesn't go too fast for beginning walkers (light plastic ones tend to 'shoot out' causing your wee one to take a nose dive). It seems to be a "green" item, although it is made in china, which means you are riding on faith and hoping that EverEarth follows up to make sure the paints aren't full of lead, etc. My 8 month old has been chewing on the stick for the xylophone and a little paint did scrape off, so I put that piece up high. The capacity for the paint to come off is probably why this toy is labeled 18 mo+. Overall a good toy though; it's not noisy, it's solid and the activities are fun for babies/toddlers. Also, assembly was easy, clear directions.

Best tot walker I've ever seen!Dec 19, 2009

This toy was originally suggested to me by my daughter for her youngest daughter... age 6 mo. She also has a two year old daughter. This all wood toy arrived in pieces and I was initially annoyed that I had to build it. It went together quickly and intuitively and had great instructions. Once assembled the toy was structurally very strong. My six year old grand son played (hard) with it and zoomed it around the room. Not a dent or scratch. I would strongly recommend this toy to anyone who is tired of the crappy plastic toys on the market. This one is a winner... apparently for several ages.

Great customer service!May 05, 2010
By Manya Raman I just want to add to the reviews that EverEarth has great customer service. My 10 month old daughter loves this walker, but I was a little concerned that the wooden wheels were not good for my floor. I decided to add felt to the wheels, and not being the most handy person, I screwed up a bit and made the wheels uneven. I wrote to customer service to explain the problem, thinking perhaps I should pay for replacement wheels. Not only did they write me email back immediately, they sent me new wheels without any charge. I am so impressed. I do wish that the wheels has a little rubber or something on them to protect good wood floors (this company likes wood and natural products, which is why they chose to make wooden wheels.) But I have to say, I'm so impressed with the overall quality of the walker and the way they handled my problem (in addition to sending me replacement wheels they took seriously my suggestion about adding something like rubber to the wheels), that I wanted to say so publicly. I can also add that before I bought the walker, I had been quite worried about whether it would tip over (it seems from reviews that many other walkers tip), but we have not had any problem. I've used the walker with my daughter for about a month now. Maybe the first week we had to be careful and hold the walker while she pulled up, but very soon after she could sort of climb up it, and it seems very sturdy. I would absolutely not worry about using this walker on carpet, outside (we have taken it to the playground, which has worked great), or on most standard floors. The only reason I worried about the floors in this case is that we are subletting, so I'm trying to be extra careful.

Do Not buy this productOct 28, 2010
By Wookiee The wheel would not turn so it had to be loosened. Now the screw does not threat to the wooden toy so the wheel keeps coming off which is dangerous because it has small washer parts. When I contacted the company they said "oh, the wheel" before I could say anything. I am waiting a call back from customer service now because all I could reach was the customer service (one person) voice mail.

Steady and Sturdy!Jul 14, 2010
By Baby Mama We were pleasantly surprised with how functional this walker has turned out to be. My little one is not walking on his own, but furniture surfs all day, and uses this walker to get to zigzag across the living room. He will push it from the front and from the back, and only occasionally is there at time when he almost tips the whole thing over. The walker has been traveling with us this summer to various friends houses, outdoor trips, and hotel rooms. It doesn't work very well outside on even mild terrain, but on anything smooth it has worked perfectly. Given the cost, it has been absolutely worth the investment!
