I got this for my baby when he was probably 8 weeks. The movement and bright colors really motivated him to swat at the toys. He loves the movement and could just stare at it for a good while. He's 5 months old now, and still really loves it. I think it was a deal... for $56 you get a play gym with sound AND movement. But it's also really well made. I would give another one of these as a shower gift me and my baby love it so much. This is a win from every angle.

I bought this for my daughter when she was 3 months old and beginning to get bored with just the mobile on her bouncy chair to play with. It has been very successful.
Pros:
Movement and music keep her attention.
There are 2 music choices: one is a tune and the other just tonal. Both are low key enough not to drive adults crazy.
Lots of different stimuli but not so much to look at that it is overwhelming.
Cons
Changing the batteries is a little irritating as you have to take the motor compartment completely off.
While the material is tough enough for baby play it does not stand up well to cats - We have two who LOVE this toy and have already put holes and pulls in the fabric.

The space boy and girl are just darling! I didn't realize the bars had motion until I got it home, and boy it sure entertains my baby! The two songs are both pleasant and the toys spark her interest with their big eyes.

I love that this gym has a motor that keeps the planets and rockets moving around, and the music also adds a nice touch!

Our son loves this! Even as early as a few weeks of age he seemed fasinated by the sounds and moving toys. The product washes easily and holds up after, at least thus far. Great product, high recommend.
