A classic is being sunk.Jan 02, 2011

What a joke. A huge bucket only a quarter full of logs. On top of it, the logs are almost all the one-inch variety which produce houses with columns instead of walls.
Please, for the price of this product can I actually build a house with walls?
Would not recommend...Hit up an auction site and buy bulk logs. It's probably to the point where the rip-off logs are better than the original.

What a Huge DisappointmentJan 12, 2011
By G. Anderson We bought this set for my daughter because my husband and I both loved playing with these when we were kids. When we opened the box, we were very disappointed with the product. There are a ton of 1" logs and a handful of bigger pieces. You can't really build anything cool at all. What a ripoff, $30 for a toy that's useless.

Shady Pine Homestead Lincoln LogsJan 17, 2011
By Mary S. Henriksen The logs were for my 4-year-old grandson who loves to build. I am almost 68 years old, and still have most of the Lincoln Logs we enjoyed as children; my daughters enjoyed them as well. The purchase was to supplement them.
There were two pieces missing when we received the logs, the farmer and the horse. When I contacted Amazon, the response was that we could let my grandson play with them until a new set arrived, at which time we would return them. The delivery was delayed a day by heavy snow, but still arrived in short order. We were kept informed about the status of the order via e-mails. We were also e-mailed when the return was received by Amazon. The return postage was credited to my credit card shortly thereafter.
The friendly and professional service was very much appreciated. We would not hesitate to order from Amazon in the future.

Gone way downhillDec 29, 2010
By Matthew Broadway Lincoln Logs have opted to cut costs by filling these sets with 1" logs. All the walls end up being columns instead of being walls. Which not only makes it frustrating to build, but ends up with a stupid looking building.
Way to kill a great product K'nex.

Lincoln logs live on!Dec 30, 2010

My grandkids were at my home and I pulled out an old set of Lincoln logs. They (all 8 of them from ages 8 down to 1) all started playing with them. So I decided to purchase a set for a birthday gift for little seanie boy for his 4th birthday. Gave him his gift last evening at his little family birthday party and all 8 were back at it. I have always loved this toy for my own kids. Hope Sean passes them down to his kids. Surely beats the video games for imagination and learning. Our girl triplet grandchildren have just just been born so next year 11 grandchildren will be playing with them. Guess I'll need to purchase more!
