CHOKING HAZARD -- Small parts. Not for children under 3 yrs.
Description:
Turn the gear wheel on this realistic helicopter model to make the main and tail rotors spin together, while another gear operates the working winch to lift heavy loads. You can even rebuild it into a seaplane for even more functional LEGO Technic fun.

For an 8 year old boyDec 30, 2010
By TG I bought this for my 8 year old nephew who doesn't hold back if he doesn't like a gift. He's literally thrown a gift back at me. His words when opening this one were "Thanks. But I'll be able to put it together in like 2 minutes..." An hour later he had to ask grandpa for help! Not that this was a super hard one to put together but it also wasn't one of the 20 piece ones for kids who are just starting out w/ the lego sets. This isn't too expensive (like the 1000 piece ones) so I think it was a great middle ground.

By Grandma This is yet another great lego design, that my grandson was able to put together by himself. It builds such confidence to be able to put together such realistic designs.

Great value for moneyMar 30, 2011
By I like Mark Twain We bought this LEGO technic helicopter for my 6-yr old son. It is his first LEGO assembly toys. He got the hang of it in a few minutes, and continued the rest of the assembly with great enthusiasm. It was his 'take back to show to class' after Spring break. We are going to disassemble and make it into an airplane the coming weekend. The instructions are superb and the parts are very neat to handle, albeit small as needed for construction.
