We seem to be collecting just about all of these Space Police sets and well, this one was a no brainer. It goes together pretty quickly, about 1.5 hours for an experienced nine-year-old builder, and it stays together exceptionally well. We HAD to get this because, quite frankly, Jawson, the alien bad guy, looks WAY too much like a shark. So, if you have a shark fan in your house, this set will certainly be a huge winner! This one we added to the hyperspeed pursuit and it's just a ton of fun! All the boys have had a lot of fun flying these ships through the house and I haven't heard too many expressions of grief because of flying parts. They stay assembled exceptionally well, and once again, thank you to Lego engineers for LOVING their jobs! Highly recommend!

 Transformer part of this Lego didn't work well at all--always fell apartJun 17, 2011
I was very disappointed with the transformer pieces always falling apart--I had to use the parts to build my own Lego. I wouldn't recommend even though the price was good and it looks good. I never rated a Lego before because I'm always so happy with their products but this one wasn't a good one.

This is a very cool ship and very well aesthetically designed. The moving parts are fluid and really designed well. The space villain shark head is also very cool, but he does have a BIG head. While the moving design is really well done, the major engine blocks on both sides of the ship are terribly designed, they fall off way to easily to make the ship fun to play with. You are putting them back on constantly. After my son and I finished building it, I wondered how this ship got past the approval process, that's how flimsy it is. So, on the same day, my son took it apart and built other things. So much for that, kinda of a disappointment, since we have other space police sets as well.
