A great small set to add to your other Alien Conquest Lego sets. DO NOT be mislead by INCORRECT list prices. Amazon has the WRONG list price (of $8.99). It SHOULD be $4.99. Sadly they give you an artificial discount of 45% to make it seem like you're getting a good deal. Not nice Amazon, not nice at all....Its a great set and for the price, allows my son to pick up a few for his 'battles'.

This is a $5 set has two minifigures and 42 pieces (about $0.12 per piece). The price per piece is a bit on the expensive side, but is offset by the two minifigures included in this set. There is one ADU (Alien Defense Unit) Trooper and one alien. These two minifigures also show up in more expensive Alien Conquest sets, so buying them at $5 is a better deal. I really like the ADU Trooper mainly because it is very detailed. It has back printing on the torso and the head is double sided. The alien has a nice head mold which has big bulging eyes and four fangs. He also rides a small little alien ship, which is not very detailed, but offers some rare pieces. I would really encourage this set to LEGO fans of the Space theme.

I think that this set is very good! It has 2 minifigs- an ADU guy and an alien tropoer and an alien craft. You should buy it!

This new Alien Conquest theme from Lego is fun and super creative. The aliens are very well designed and look great! The little Alien defense guys are pretty outgunned especially when it comes to their design which is kind of boring since the only thing different about them is their heads.
As for the Alien Striker set, this one is a great set at a great price. You are basically getting 2 minifigs for $4.99. Considering that the collectible minifig packs are $2.99 for one fig, I think this is a great deal! Especially for all you army builders out there!
The little spaceship is neat but if you are looking for a building challenge. Look elsewhere. Might be better off throwing a few of these sets together and coming up with a large flying saucer or something!
Overall, the play value is just OK since there is only so much you can do with one flying guy and one guy who runs around. That doesn't negate the "cool factor" of the minifigs however.
A great low cost entry to the Alien Conquest theme!
