Lego Racers Are GreatJun 20, 2009

My 6-year-old son got the Lego Racers 8121 Track Marshal Pace Car yesterday. He followed the instructions, and put it together correctly all by himself. After putting it together, he rolled it off the kitchen counter repeatedly, trying to get the car to break apart -- but he was unsuccessful. We both became very impressed with how well the Lego bricks held together -- if this were a Knex toy, it would break apart in his hands.
My son Noah says, "This Lego car holds together really good, and I took it apart and put it back together all by myself -- thanks to the instructions."

This set was fun for my 6 year old son. He can build it himself! All tough we have been building with legos together since he was 4, so i'm not saying all 6 year olds will be able to build it by themselves. But this set is very basic and makes it ideal for the youngsters. However, not too young as with all the lego sets there are many small pieces!

My son enjoys putting these cars together and interchanging the pieces. The hard plastic case is great for him to carry some along with him.
