Different type of LEGO set and just as much funApr 03, 2012
By Mama from PA My son loves LEGOs and he wanted LEGO Dino because he saw in the LEGO club magazine (definitely need to hide any new LEGO club magazine). This set has a flying dinosaur and a net which were unique. LEGO likes to reuse pieces to make new sets so this tower is similar in concept to the Toys Story 3 Trash Compactor Escape (7596) tower. My son is 5 years old and he could build LEGO sets for 8-14 years old so this was a very easy set to build. He loves to role play with the set after it has been finished.

After I bought my 5 year old son's first Lego Hero Factory for him and I saw how easy it was for him to put together we've continued to add to his Lego collection. He wanted to start getting the "regular" Legos from Star Wars and the Lego Dino. I worried about the little pieces, but he's done a really good job with them. I've now bought them to have on hand for rewards, birthday presents, for friends, etc. He can make them himself and has had fun altering them with each other's parts. They are very rewarding educational toys. Some Lego kits are very costly, but these prices are very reasonable for something so with so many benefits.

Bought this as a gift for my 13 year old son. He loves it! He is a legomaniac! He said it met all his expectations and the teraydactile was great he has configured it about 6 different ways. If your kids don't have it, buy it! hope that helps.
Good size for child with 7/8 yearsFeb 19, 2012
By Georgia My soon love it. I had great fun helping him to connect the pieces. This set is good because it is not very large. We finished pretty fast.
Great mid size setFeb 19, 2012
By BebopKi Lego's Dino Tower Take down is a great set to complete with the Dino theme. It's actually more accurate in relation to realism than the rest of the sets. This set basically is a tower, it comes with a base, platforms, and little jet ski. The jet ski docks next to the platform, the platform connects to the tower, there's a ladder that leads up to the tower, the tower has a satellite dish, computer screen, and net launching device. I was amazingly surprised with the net launcher because it actually works without any spring mechanism. And of course we have the Pteranodon, which just like the rest of the dinosaurs, amazingly detailed and sculpted. The figure is accurately detailed from the head and mouth to the wings and legs. My only complaint with the set is it doesn't come with some sort of attachment for the jet ski to the dock. As we all know, in real life if you don't anchor down your boat/canoe/jet ski its going to float away. And I really wished the wings of the Pteranodon came in two parts, so we can fold the arms down and tips up to make it seem as the Pteranodon is walking upright. I would still recommend this set to everyone though.
