Creative and funApr 01, 2011
By Great Granny I ordered this Lego set for our 8 year old granddaughter. Her daddy works within the law enforcement field, and she has really enjoyed pursuing and "locking up the bad guys" with this set. Legos provide exercise for both gross and fine motor skills, foster creativity, are incredibly durable, grow with the child and are just plain fun.

LEGO Police Prisoner Transport 7286Dec 31, 2011
By Tow-Mater-Water Lets go ahead and compare this to the 2008 prisoner transport. The 2011 truck has more detail, such as the search light, the newer accessories; an orange dirt bike, cash sack, coffee mug, megaphone, radio, barricade, handcuffs, money, road blocking sign thingy, yellow storage bin. Now one thing I noticed was that there is a separation point between the storage area and the prisoner hold, unlike the 2008 fire truck. When we look at the 2008 model prisoner truck, the prisoner hold was bigger, more capacity for more prisoners to be transported. To fix this though, take out the 1x4 doors, move the prison bars two studs (the other side should have two studs of room as well), stack three 2x1 thick bricks (x4) and fill them in the remaining spaces, an rearrange roof tiles as well. One more thing is this set does not need to be only a prisoner transport set, it can also serve as a police van, and by that I mean it could respond to a traffic accident and block roads and keep everyone safe. I will also point out details between the two sets. The 2011 model has a fully functional search light, less space in the prisoner hold, more accessories, lookes more Eropean than the 2008 model, lego has improved on detail with this set, has a light in the entrance way of the prisoner hold. Pros. *more detail* *more accessories* *worth $20.00* *more of a European style* *easy build* *minifigures* *the truck itself* *etc.* Cons. You have to tear off the roof to get the officer in Stickers Vehicle Can only fit one driver inside. Pick this police set up today if my review is convencing enough.

LEGO City Police Prisoner TransportNov 25, 2011
This Lego piece is a decent toy. It took me about an hour and a half to build, it was a pretty easy build. It's durable its fun overall its a pretty good toy but there was a couple things I didnt like about it, The yellow chairs you put in the car kept popping off. There was so many little spare pieces. It was a little pricy for what you turned out with in the end, It was 20 dollars and I think it should have been 12 dollors but over all it was a pretty good set.

Orange dirtbikeOct 11, 2011
By AverageGuyShopper The real value of this police set is that it comes with an orange dirtbike. For this model year, I believe this is the only lego set to carry this cool item, and I' ve looked around the lego website to try and find it. In the past, this item was sold with the coast guard theme sets, since discontinued. Colored dirtbikes are currently >$10 sold by third party sellers.
