Garage'o'funSep 14, 2009
By A. Borowski I purchased the Lego City Garage for my nephew's birthday. I had as much fun as him in putting it together which did not take that long. Overall, I felt that it was well worth the purchase; however, I wish that it had more to it than just a little office, main garage floor, and a "tight" garage for the tow truck. It seemed a little sparse not having more items to interact with in the main garage. Also, I would have preferred the whole thing to be a bit bigger for the price I paid.
All this being said, I was impressed that we had to build the majority of the buildings from the familiar small Lego pieces instead of pre-fabricated walls (although, there are some of these used). It was also nice to have 3 vehicles to interact with this item.
Putting this item together brought back fun memories of my Lego city when I was young and made me want to invest in additional pieces for my nephew (mainly so that I can play with them too!).

Awesome Garage!Feb 02, 2010
The lego garage I got for christmas is really cool. The office has a coffemaker! The crane is durable, but sometimes the brick that holds the crane on the rail falls off. And the garage is where I can put my towtruck. Also a tip, Do NOT try to build this in one day!!

Great Garage!Jun 27, 2010
By M. Harris This garage is a great thing to have. It has a lot of detail and vehicles at an excellent price. The tow truck is big, and the pickup truck is nice as well. Lego always comes out with good stuff. The office is great too. There are tires, and other things you would find at a repair garage included in this set.

Avoid!Nov 23, 2010

I purchased this toy for my 5 year old son. He loves putting the sets together and had no problem with this one.
However the set is made of lego's thinnest bricks and only takes a slight movement for the buildings to fall apart.
At first I thought it was the way he was picking it up, but the same happened when I tried to move it.
In the end I returned it in exchange for the 'fire station' which he simply loves!
(Yes the prices have gone up because I saw it mid year for about $15 less).

LEGO is always a good choice!Feb 06, 2010
By rjv Great Christmas gift for my 10 year old who loves LEGO sets. A good amount of pieces to keep even an accomplished builder happy. Very bright and colorful. The vehicles are very sturdy which allows for actual play with them. The picture on the box is accurate however keep in mind that the garage floor in the picture is not part of the set. The photo makes the set appear much larger and more complex than it really is. Still a good choice.
