Bought for my 4 yr old who generally loves cars, motorcycles and guns (who doesn't :). He loved the styling and this became his favorite lego car for a few days amongst other lego vehicles he has had. The plastic box it comes in is a keeper as it helps them keep their stuff organized...or at least try. Some other smaller lego kits come in paper/card-board boxes or plastic bags which are not great for storage. One complain I have is that the smaller parts of the kit get attached so tightly that it is almost impossible for little fingers to get them apart. Some lego competitors have taken note of that and have designed their smaller parts by making micron changes in the edges to allow prying these apart. Overall a very good buy.

My 5-year-old just started to enjoy Lego products, and this was one of his first signature collection that he completed on his own. Not too many pieces, but great outcome with such a sophisticated design and durable material/construction. I would recommend this Racers series to anyone who wants to lead his or her child to Lego, but do not want to pay too much at the beginning. One thing I did not like from this purchase was, though, that I paid almost $8 for this one at Amazon.com while I found the same one at Target for $5.44.

This made a great gift for my nephews who both love Legos - if they work together they can make a "super" vehicle using this and the turbo tow 8195.

This is a great inexpensive Lego that is great to assemble and stays together well. Out 4 yr old put this together in about 45 minutes or so and came out very well. Looks great once assembled!
