5Its Lego!Dec 30, 2009
By momto3boys
My ten year old received this for Christmas and really likes it. Was surprised the propellers tilted easily and like they should, since normally things don't work like they should. It's Lego, if you have kids who like Lego, they will like it!

4A very cool lego setJun 17, 2010

This was my first Atlantis lego set I got and I REALLY love it.It is very strong and it only comes apart when the shark warrior is really trying hard to rip it apart. The new Atlantis mini figures are cool looking. It has cool features like the engines that flip around to reveal a torpedo launcher and a Atlantis key gripping arm.The only problem with this set is that the included shark man is no match for the sub. I would recommend that you get a set like the deep sea striker to go along with this set.

5One of the coolest moving-part lego sets we've built.Jan 20, 2011
By Brian A. Roush
Originally, I wasn't that into the Atlantis theme, but this vehicle is really pretty cool. What makes it unique is that the turbines can actually reverse by moving a slide forward/backward. They lock into place in each position, so it plays well and isn't flimsy. To boot, all of this is done with ordinary style parts and minimal specialty pieces. It's really quite amazing.

When you flip the engines, it reveals a missile launcher and claw which can be used for your imaginary missions.

The diver and shark-guy minifigures are unique and fun for kids to play with. Since you're getting both a "good guy" and a "bad guy" in one set, this makes it a great selection for someone's first (or only) Atlantis set.

5Great piece!Jan 01, 2012

We have been enjoying building sets from the Lego Atlantis line and this one, although smaller than some of the other sets, is just awesome. It's fairly simple to build; my six year old had no problems, and once built is just great to play with. It transforms and has a cool torpedo to shoot and additionally can be held in your hand easily to operate. One of the best from the Altantis line.

Bought this for my nephew. He loved it. Encourages him to use his imagination. Legos are fantastic for children! (Please make sure you buy the appropriate legos per age group.)
