By SM-NM Catboy This is the first set in my LEGO Atlantis collection. Not disappointed. Cool pieces. Not too expensive at $[...].
All good except sends wrong message about sharksApr 17, 2012
By Oscar Wilde Amazon delivered this promptly and my son put it together with ease. Instructions were clear. There are lots of moving parts that work well and bring this toy toy to life. My son is very pleased with this and it will provide him with lots of entertainment. He loves the big teeth and usable jaw that can grab and hold things. I'm not as keen on the message sent by Harpoon guy! LEGO is sending a negative message and perpetuating myths about sharks which have led to the decline of the species. For that reason, I give this a very low educational ranking.

LEGO's has come a long wayFeb 02, 2011
By J. Wang Bought this for a nephew of mine. He loves it-he's younger than the suggested age, but with a little help he had it fully assembled. LEGO's are always good quality, consistent in their material. Stickers are easy to apply. The biggest thing I've noticed is how many unique pieces there are in this particular set. In the future, I'm pretty sure they will stand apart when all the lego's eventually come into one big bucket for sandbox projects. Not necessarily a ding, but the re-use value of some of the pieces are rather low, unless he keeps using this toy forever, which knowing him, isn't very likely.
As a side note, the Atlantis set itself is very cool to behold; it's almost on par with that of the Star Wars sets I've seen in the past.

Great LEGO Set!Jun 28, 2010
By M. Sarrao My son received this as a gift for his 9th birthday. It is a great set. He put it together by himself and then played with it. The shark is great fun, especially for boys. It has big teeth and spikes on its fins! It hasn't fallen apart very much, like many LEGO sets do. We liked it so much, I gave it to my nephew for his birthday!
