 Great fun, but faulty designJan 01, 2012

My 8 month old daughter got Lulu for Christmas and she LOVES her crinkly skirt and bright colors. However, within an hour, she had her arm stuck in the the "loop" that is attached to Lulu's left arm and foot. THEN, she had her whole leg in there while she was strapped in her carseat on the way home. YIKES. I can't figure out why on earth Lamaze would put that loop there, but I don't think it is a good idea and can't let her play with the toy unsupervised. There are so many other nice Lamaze toys that don't have that pesky loop, so you might want to keep shopping.

My daughter loves Lulu in a Tutu. Her skirt is crinkly and the bottom is black and white so babies are drawn to it. She can grab the plastic loop connecting the hand and foot and pull herself closer to crinkle the skirt. She also likes to suck on Lulu's ballet slipper. This toy is 100% better than any of the other brands hanging toys (bright starts brand toys are lame compared to this) and we will be asking for more lamaze brand toys for Christmas.

My baby loves this hippo. It has a super crinkly tutu that my daughter loves to bat and grab with her hands and feet. She's had it since she was 2 months old and she's now 5 months.
