I received this as a gift from a friend and my infant liked it so much I chose to buy it for my niece as well. It is a good, durable toy that has many different facets that engage children. My daughter loves the shiny, crinkly mermaid tail, while my neice loves the mermaid's floppy hair. The clip allowed me to attach it to my daughter's carseat, and my sister attached her's to an umbrella stroller. When it gets dirty I just throw it in the wash. Great toy!

This is a great baby toy. My daughter loves the texture of the hair, which is strips of fabric. She also really loves the rattling star and the mirror tail. There is a crinkle patch too but I do wish it were bigger because she loves the crinkle sound on other Lamaze toys.

My granddaughter loves Marina! The brightly colored "hair" really attracts her attention. Marina has been a big hit with her. I will keep this item in mind when purchasing for other children!

I was looking for a infant toy for a baby girl. After seing this one, and many others, I deciced to go with this one because not only was it cute, but it also seemed to be very entertaining for a baby. Heck i wana play with it. When I recieved it in the mail, I thought it was even cuter in person. Can't wait to give it to my friend in her basket of baby gifts.

The Lamaze toys are great! My daughter has the Mermaid, the Peacock, the dog and the Kangaroo. I would recommend them for any baby. There is something about the different colors and textures and sounds it makes that keep their attention wonderfully! I always have one in my car so that it will keep my little girl occupied while we are sitting in traffic. The mermaid and the Peacock are her favorites!
