This is the second lady bug tea set we've purchased for our tea-party-loving 3 year old. It's porcelain, it's going to break, and it's a kids' tea set, you're not going to get a whole lot of "tea" out of the pot/cups; those things have been mentioned by other reviewers and they're non-issues to me. Our daughter received her first set for her 2nd birthday and despite being made of porcelain, it held up very well considering it was played with daily by a 2 year old (and her big sister who is 2.5 years older) in our hardwood floored home for a year. When items did break, the pieces glued back together very nicely and seamlessly with super glue. A year later, we've only just purchased the second set to replace the items that have been glued one too many times. For the price, I'm happy to buy replacement sets as long as she requires them, she loves the set so.

This was a porcelan teaset for a 5 yr old that loves ladybugs. It is not rated as durable as she has a 2 yr old brother. It is well made and she loves it.

My granddaughter, age 3, loves it. Since it's porcelain she has learned how to handle the pieces carefully. Hours of enjoyment

We were so surprised to see that this set is actually made of porcelain - beautifully painted, this has quickly become my Princesses favorite!!! I attended so many Tea parties I continually sloshed for the first couple days after Christmas!!! Excellent deal for your little princess, and made to last generations!!

I ordered this tea set for my niece for Christmas. It arrived in great condition and looks just wonderful! The lettering and designs are very bright and pleasing to the eye. It was a lot smaller than I thought, but it is the perfect gift for my niece!
