I gave one of the 3 Kinex sets I had purchased for Christmas to my son after he received a perfect report card.... as a gift. I thought carefully about the decision because I already have all of my shopping done for Christmas...I chose the Kinex in hopes that it would spark his imagination & I was pleasantly pleased! He played with it all night and is asking everyone to give him more for Christmas so he can build bigger things!

I bought this toy for my 8 year old son. He built it by himself in just two afternoons. He loves playing with it, and it becomes the center of attention when his friends are visiting. After playing with it for many hours, the tracks needed to be adjusted a little, and he enjoyed doing it. It's part of the educational experience. Long story short: This is an awesome toy for a curious boy and I'm glad I purchased it. Hope this helps.

Hi, and regards.
My name is Zackary and I have to say something. K'nex roller coaster used to be so much better. Have to set up the rail holders and then connecting the rail to then. But now the rail is all one piece. This upsets me know that my once favorite building toy is getting cheap. I've had the "Scream Serpant" and another that I can recall the name of. With the old way they used to make the coasters was so muck better... but i guess that what you get when a company wants to maxiumize there profit. I am 18, and resently started build complexs structures with these agian since ive stoped at the age of around 13... its a great toy for all ages. i believe it exercises the brain. regardless of the newer cheaper stuff K'nex is making, its a great toy for you child.
