Awesome, and so much better than Legos!Feb 15, 2012
By kelley addison I was surprised to see there were a couple of negative reviews for this coaster. But after reading them, I see it's the parents who are complaining about having to build it! My son is 8, and has already built 2 other K'Nex coasters by himself. He only needed help getting the moving rubber track in place, but the building of the coaster is no harder than any Lego set he's ever built. And the fact that these are less expensive AND have motorized parts makes it a great toy. If your child is a good builder and can follow the instruction booklet, he'll have no problems.

My 8 Year Old Loves It--Best Birthday Present this Year!Dec 11, 2011
By Sam Blumke
"Uncle Sam"
I purchased this for my eight year old after he had been watching (and dreaming about) youtube videos of different coasters for weeks. He was obsessed with them and this was his favorite. It took a while to assemble and was a bit of a challenge--on of the resons we like these toys--but he finally got it figured out and has watched the coasters spin for a couple of weeks now. The toy has held up well and we are very happy with our purchase.

By Krista Scott This is great for some children over the age of 5 but my 5 year old loves to build and is very happy
Complex but challenging and rewarding for pre-teensMar 04, 2013
By William W. Adams The perfect gift for an 11-year-old who likes to put things together - with his dad. Takes a while to construct.
ugh...Feb 04, 2013
By Jeffrey L Reaser our son wanted this really badly for Christmas. It's kind of neat, but a pain to put together... and to keep putting together as things come apart. It's a one-trick pony type of toy. Neat, but not much you can really do with it other than watch it.
